Beyond the Bell: Grades K-6 (CBPS & CIS)

Beyond the Bell is an after school program that focuses on creating a fun and safe space for kids to develop friendships, burn off extra energy from the day, work on homework and explore interests. Beyond the Bell will allow your child time to do everything from completing homework to playing games with their friends!

Beyond the Bell is offered Monday-Friday and is held at Cherry Brook Primary School. Canton Intermediate School students will be traveling via school bus to Cherry Brook Primary School at CIS dismissal. Please make sure your child has an extra snack and a refillable water bottle. Beyond the Bell runs from school dismissal until 6:00pm on regular days and 5:30pm on half days.

Bus Seat Limitations (CIS Only)
Due to CIS students having to travel to Cherry Brook Primary School to attend Beyond the Bell, we have a strict maximum for the number of CIS students able to attend Beyond the Bell this year. We can only have 8 CIS students attend Beyond the Bell this year. With that in mind, please do not wait until the last minute to sign your child(ren) up for Beyond the Bell. Due to these bus seat limitations, we will also not be offering the single date or part-time option for CIS students. CIS students must attend Beyond the Bell full time.

Snow/Weather Policy
Beyond the Bell will not be offered on any weather related early dismissals or snow days.

Half Days & No School Days
Beyond the Bell is offered on scheduled half days and no school days (when town offices are open), however must be signed up for separately. This means that if you have signed your child up for after school days at Beyond the Bell you still must sign them up separately for any half days or no school days happening during that month. Half days will run from dismissal until 5:30pm. No school days will run at the Canton Community Center in the Parks & Recreation Room from 9:00am until 5:00pm.

Pricing
We offer 3 different date/pricing options for Beyond the Bell. The full time option means that your child is registered to attend Beyond the Bell every day it is offered for that given month, not including any half days or no school days. This is the only option available for CIS students due to the bus seat limitations. The part time option means that your child is registered to attend Beyond the Bell for 8 days out of the month, excluding any half days or no school days. The single date option means that your child is only registered to attend Beyond the Bell one day during the month (ex. "John Smith will attend Beyond the Bell on September 8th"). You can sign your child up multiple times for single dates if you need them to attend for more than one day.

New This Year! Payment Plans
Automatic withdrawal payment plans are available for all-year bundles (both full time and part time). Payment plans will be automatically available at check out until August 23rd. General Form Updates
Please make sure your child's general form information is up-to-date before they begin Beyond the Bell. If you completed a Canton Parks & Recreation General Form for summer camp, please review the form through your household account. If you did not complete a Canton Parks & Recreation General Form for summer programming, you will be prompted to complete a form at check out.

Please Note: June Beyond the Bell dates and registration deadlines will be released after the winter, once the possibility of snow days has passed.
Please Note: There is no Beyond the Bell held on the 11/27 or 12/20 half days.
