FREE MEMORY SCREENING - HARTFORD HEALTHCARE
SEPTEMBER 6 9-11:30 AM -- ROOM C, CCC 
Are you caring for a loved one who is experiencing memory problems? Are you concerned your loved one’s memory loss may be an early sign of dementia? Does Alzheimer’s or dementia run in your family? Are you concerned about your own memory? Through a simple series of questions and tasks, a screening is designed to gauge memory, language and thinking skills. While the results are not a diagnosis, the 5–10-minute process could signal that a follow-up full evaluation should be conducted by a clinician. Call 860.693.5811 to arrange for a screening.

BALANCE SCREENING
WEDNESDAYS 11:30-12:30 -- SENIOR LOUNGE, SENIOR CENTER
Have you ever worried about your risk of fall or injury?  The Cherry Brook Health Care Center will have a physical therapist on site to assess your balance and provide helpful information about preventing falls.
