PLAYSTRONG: Tumble Tots (Ages 18 mos -5 years) - Spring Session: 18 months-3 yrs This is a great class for the active little ones who are looking for a foundation of tumbling and fitness. Pound Fitness Class - Session IV: Pound Fitness Class A full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Using lightly weighted drumsticks engineered for exercising, Pound transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out. Designed for all fitness levels! Easily modifiable, Pound provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up and rockin' out!
Participants need to bring a mat and water bottle; pound sticks are provided by the instructor. Tot Time: Open Gym Playtime - Tot Time: Session 4 (Tuesdays) Come to the Canton Community Center for Tot Time! An opportunity for toddlers to play, explore and burn some energy. Beyond the Bell is an after school program that focuses on creating a fun and safe space for kids to develop friendships, create art, burn off extra energy from the day, work on homework and explore interests. Beyond the Bell has scheduled activities and crafts throughout the afternoon that will allow your child time to do everything from completing homework to playing games with their friends!Beyond the Bell is offered Monday-Friday and is held at Cherry Brook Primary School. Canton Intermediate School students will be traveling on the Route 9 bus to Cherry Brook Primary School at C.I.S. dismissal. The program runs from school dismissal until 6:00pm on regular days and 5:30pm on half days. Please make sure your child has an extra snack and a refillable water bottle. Beyond the Bell is not offered during school vacations or on holidays and snow days. Bus Seat LimitationsDue to C.I.S. students having to travel to Cherry Brook to attend Beyond the Bell, we have a strict maximum for the number of C.I.S. students able to attend Beyond the Bell this year. We can only have 8 C.I.S. students attend Beyond the Bell this year. With that in mind, please do not wait until the last minute to sign your child(ren) up for Beyond the Bell. Due to these bus seat limitations, we will also not be offering the single date option for C.I.S. students. Warrior Volleyball Clinic - Warrior Volleyball: Middle School Clinic Spring ClinicAnyone interested in volleyball, and potentially playing in high school should attend our Spring Clinic. The clinic will be instructed by Canton's varsity head coach Joe Sobowicz and his coaching staff, along with some of the players on our current high school girls varsity team. It is 2x a week for 4 weeks (8 total sessions) after school where we will go over volleyball basics, develop our skills, and play a lot of fun games to improve! Pound Fitness Class - Session IV: Pound Fitness Class A full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Warrior Volleyball Clinic - Warrior Volleyball: Middle School Clinic Spring ClinicAnyone interested in volleyball, and potentially playing in high school should attend our Spring Clinic. The clinic will be instructed by Canton's varsity head coach Joe Sobowicz and his coaching staff, along with some of the players on our current high school girls varsity team. It is 2x a week for 4 weeks (8 total sessions) after school where we will go over volleyball basics, develop our skills, and play a lot of fun games to improve! This program is designed to have fun, learn, and prepare yourself to keep playing on club teams and for the high school team potentially in the future. Baby & Me on the Move: Fitness Class - Baby & Me Fitness This class is a great way to stay active, while engaging with your child and other caregivers. The format will entail a structured fitness set as well as a walk. All fitness levels are welcomed! The class is designed to help kick start your fitness journey and find a community of caregivers. Weather permitting: classes may be held outdoors at Mills Pond Park. Participants will be notified if class will be at the park. Walks will take place in the area near park or on the trails in the surrounding area.Equipment: Please bring a mat, water and stroller. Canton P & R will supply light weights, but you are welcome to bring your own. Please bring toys for your children to play with when they need a break from the workout. Some, not all, exercises may include an option to have your child participate; however, child participation is not required to complete the program.Participants must be cleared to exercise by a health care provider if recently (8 weeks) postpartum.

Fitness Matrix - Fitness Matrix - April Fitness MatrixThis fun beginner-to-intermediate class provides a full-body workout using multiple fitness modalities: resistance training, cardio, balance, and stretching using resistance bands, light weights, steps, POUND Ripstix®, occasional dance fitness moves, and chairs for optional standing support. Each class varies slightly, but each works all major and some minor muscle groups. Bring your own tools or we can provide them. Instructor Kathi Boratko is an Athletics and Fitness Association of America™ (AFAA) certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor and owner of FITMiX with Kathi.

Beyond the Bell is an after school program that focuses on creating a fun and safe space for kids to develop friendships, create art, burn off extra energy from the day, work on homework and explore interests. Beyond the Bell has scheduled activities and crafts throughout the afternoon that will allow your child time to do everything from completing homework to playing games with their friends!Beyond the Bell is offered Monday-Friday and is held at Cherry Brook Primary School. Canton Intermediate School students will be traveling on the Route 9 bus to Cherry Brook Primary School at C.I.S. dismissal. The program runs from school dismissal until 6:00pm on regular days and 5:30pm on half days. Please make sure your child has an extra snack and a refillable water bottle. Beyond the Bell is not offered during school vacations or on holidays and snow days. Bus Seat LimitationsDue to C.I.S. students having to travel to Cherry Brook to attend Beyond the Bell, we have a strict maximum for the number of C.I.S. students able to attend Beyond the Bell this year. We can only have 8 C.I.S. students attend Beyond the Bell this year. With that in mind, please do not wait until the last minute to sign your child(ren) up for Beyond the Bell. Due to these bus seat limitations, we will also not be offering the single date option for C.I.S. students. C.I.S. students must attend Beyond the Bell either full time or part time.Snow/Weather PolicyBeyond the Bell will not be offered on any weather related early dismissals or snow days.Half Days & No School DaysBeyond the Bell is offered on scheduled half days and no school days, however must be signed up for separately.
