Join anytime! Registration is rolling. You pick your schedule!Join the party and enjoy the health benefits of this energetic, feel good, low impact aerobic workout. This class is a total body workout set to Latin and international rhythms. We use the same music and choreography as Zumba Basic; the routines are just modified to be more gentle on your knees. No experience necessary, just a willingness to dance and have fun while logging at least 5,000 steps on your fitness tracker!Interested participants are welcome to take a FREE class on either a Tuesday or Saturday. Registration for a free class is required - see below. How it works:  Pick your schedule - purchase this flex schedule to be able to attend when it works for you. 8 class pass; classes run continuously throughout the year. Youth Mental Health First AidFarmington Valley Health District & Canton Youth Services BureauThis skills-based course is designed to teach participants, who regularly interact with youth ages 12 to 18, how to identify, understand, and respond to an adolescent who may be experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge.Topics Covered- Common signs and symptoms of mental health challenges in this age group, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders and attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD)- Common signs and symptoms of substance use challenges- How to interact with a child or adolescent in crisis- How to connect the youth with help- Expanded content on trauma, substance use, self-care and the impact of social media and bullyingWho Should Attend?Open to anyone 18+ who regularly works with youth. This program is great for teachers, school staff, parents, coaches and camp counselors.  FormatThis program is taught in 2 3.5 hour long sessions. Both sessions must be attended.
