Not to mentions it’s a social activity that can be fun, improve your mood, help you sleep better, address certain health conditions and weight control. From the calm, slow practice of Tai Chi, to modified Chair Pilates or the smooth groovin’ of Mind Body Boost, there is something to keep you moving four days a week at the Senior Center! All classes offered operate on a rolling basis, so come when you can – start when you can. It is not required that you start at the beginning of each new session.TAI CHI MONDAYS @1 PM WEDNESDAYS @ 1 PMTai Chi is an ancient Chinese movement practice that focuses on muscle control, stability, balance, and flexibility using gentle movements. Practiced regularly, it can help reduce pain, especially from knee osteoarthritis, back problems, and fibromyalgia -- among many other health challenges. Join Tai Chi Joe and start to enjoy the benefits of an alternative exercise that’s easier on the joints.Drop-ins $7/class payable at the time of the class or monthly packages $5/class payable online. Ages 55+. Minimum 5 participants to run class. No special attire or shoes required. Dress comfortably.CHAIR PILATESMONDAYS @ 10:30 AMWEDNESDAYS @ 11:30 AMLooking for a low impact way to start or return to exercise? Robyn Centrella’s Chair Pilates will have you strengthening your core, boosting your flexibility and posture as well as improving your balance. Yes, you will sit in a chair and still feel like you’ve gotten a great workout! This is also a nice complement to her Dance Fitness course on Fridays.Drop-ins $7/class payable at the time of the class or monthly packages $5/class payable online.Need more info? Come enjoy dancing with us to simple, easy to learn, line dances. Line dancing is a choreographed dance with a repeated sequence of steps in which a group of people dance in one or more lines or rows while all executing the same steps at the same time. Get some exercise for your body and mind and have fun while doing it! Wear comfortable clothes and shoes.Drop-ins $7/class payable at the time of the class or monthly packages $5/class payable online.

Fitness MatrixThis fun beginner-to-intermediate class provides a full-body workout using multiple fitness modalities: resistance training, cardio, balance, and stretching using resistance bands, light weights, steps, POUND Ripstix®, occasional dance fitness moves, and chairs for optional standing support. Each class varies slightly, but each works all major and some minor muscle groups. Bring your own tools or we can provide them. Instructor Kathi Boratko is an Athletics and Fitness Association of America™ (AFAA) certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor and owner of FITMiX with Kathi.

Improve flexibility and posture! Sculpt, tone and renew your body! This class combines standing and mat Pilates with Yoga and Barre. Light weights, a ball, and possibly RIPStiX wil be used. PLEASE BRING A MAT! No other tools required.
