Music with Miss Jean (Ages 18 Mo. - 3 Yrs.) - Fall Session 1 Welcome to Music with Miss Jean!This guitar led sing-along class consists of music and activities that keep everybody moving. Have fun playing instruments, jumping to the rhythms and learning some musical games. This class gets the kids dancing and helps them burn off some energy for nap time. Music with Miss Jean is not only a Canton community favorite, however it is also a great environment for toddlers to learn to play with one another. Summit Adaptive Skateboarding Program - Summit Adaptive Skateboarding - September 20 Learn to skateboard in a fun and supportive, adaptive environment! The Summit Adaptive Skateboarding Program is designed for individuals with disabilities who want to develop skateboarding skills and build confidence. Participants will receive individualized instruction from trained coaches and volunteers while learning balance, board control, safety skills, and skatepark fundamentals. No previous skateboarding experience is required.Summit Adaptive requires participants who have not previously registered for programming to complete a registration form, so that the staff can better understand the disabilities and needs of the participants. As well as this registration form, there is a general liability waiver and then a media waiver that need to be completed; those can be done online or on-site on a device the day of the event they attend. Please see links below for those required items. Registration Waivers Program will be held at the Mills Pond Park skatepark from 9:30-11:30am on August 30, September 20, September 27 and October 4. Pre-registration through Canton Rec is required, as there is a maximum number of participants per day.

In this introduction to the game, you will learn how to play pickleball, including safety, proper grip, positioning, ground strokes, serves, returns, lobs, dinking, scoring and game strategy. This course is geared to beginners to the sport.Advanced Beginner/Round RobinWant to build on your beginner pickleball skills and get some games in too? Then sign up for Advanced Beginner Pickleball!we will work on skills (about 30 mins) followed by coached round robin play. Stay longer on your own to continue your games, if you’d like. Summit Adaptive Skateboarding Program - Summit Adaptive Skateboarding - September 27 Learn to skateboard in a fun and supportive, adaptive environment! The Summit Adaptive Skateboarding Program is designed for individuals with disabilities who want to develop skateboarding skills and build confidence. Participants will receive individualized instruction from trained coaches and volunteers while learning balance, board control, safety skills, and skatepark fundamentals. No previous skateboarding experience is required.Summit Adaptive requires participants who have not previously registered for programming to complete a registration form, so that the staff can better understand the disabilities and needs of the participants. As well as this registration form, there is a general liability waiver and then a media waiver that need to be completed; those can be done online or on-site on a device the day of the event they attend. Please see links below for those required items. Registration Waivers Program will be held at the Mills Pond Park skatepark from 9:30-11:30am on August 30, September 20, September 27 and October 4. Pre-registration through Canton Rec is required, as there is a maximum number of participants per day.
