Kid Strong: After School Fitness
What is Kid Strong?
Being active is so important! Throughout this program, participants will learn how to pair fitness with fun, which is essential to setting a child on a path towards a lifetime of fitness. Through age appropriate exercises and games, we will work on agility, coordination, balance, flexibility, power, stamina and cardio-vascular endurance. This class is appropriate for all levels of fitness.
Dates: Mondays, Jan. 24 to March 7 (No Class on Feb. 21)
Snow Date: Monday, March 14
Time: 3:00pm to 3:45pm
Location: Parks & Rec Room in Canton Community Center
Ages: 8 to 12 (Grades 4th through 6th)
Registration Deadline: Wednesday, January 19 by 4:00pm
Note: Participants can be chaperoned from Canton Intermediate School to the Canton Community Center by the instructor on days the program is held.
Meet the Instructor: Jana Heath
Jana Heath is an NASM and ACE certified personal trainer with an M.S. in Exercise Science and Health Promotion. She has run a fitness and wellness business, Fuzion Fitness, for over 15 years and is a dedicated fitness professional.
