Canton Parks and Recreation is proud to continue our painting classes with a new feature: wood sign painting! During this class participants will create beautiful works of art in a short amount of time. Most signs can even be personalized. The best part: no experience is needed for this class! Registration will close Thursday, October 14 at 11:59pm. Program will be held outdoors in the pavilions at Mills Pond Park; masks are not required outdoors. In the event of inclement weather, program will be held indoors in the Multipurpose Room at the Canton Community Center; masks are required if program is held indoors.
Here is how it works:
Register for one of the two sizes we offer for the program, and one of two colors for the 10 x 10 board. During the sign up process you can select one of the following themes from the drop down box. An optional box for your personalized name/family name will pop up also. Then check out and show up to the day of the class! All the prep work is done behind the scenes and will be ready for you to paint. When we say you don't need any experience to paint, we mean it!
All supplies are included, paint colors will vary. Just wear an old T-Shirt, or bring a smock. Paints are non-washable.
Up to 3 signs can be done in one class also by one person, in case you can't chose and want to do more than one!
