Beyond the Bell: Half Days & No School Days Register View Cart

SNOW/WEATHER POLICY: This program is NOT offered on any weather related early dismissals, or snow days. The dates below are school dates that do not have relevance to the weather. In the event that snow/weather related cancellations/dismissals occur on the below dates the program will be cancelled. 

All participants, including staff, must wear face masks while indoors for this program regardless of vaccination status. Check below under COVID-19 updates for more details. Half Days will be held at each school location site. 

Registration for CBPS will need 6 participants for the program to run. In the event a total of 6 participants is not reached, the program will be cancelled with full refunds issued. We encourage families to please register early, so we can plan for the success of the program accordingly and so other families can make other arrangements. 


NOTE: Beyond the Bell is subject to change in regards to program formatting, group sizes, safety protocols due to COVID19, day and time scheduling, and activities.

Schedule: 
Beyond the Bell's schedule on half days will be 1:00-5:30pm for Grades K-3. 

If you are planning on signing your child(ren) up for individual half days, please note that registration will close by 9:00am the day before the scheduled half day.

Program Information: 

Beyond the Bell No School Days and Half Days include arts and crafts, planned recreational games and activities and even some educational lessons through play. Children will be able to have fun like they would at camp, while also staying on top of their education. 
-If your child has any homework that needs to be worked on, please let us know (more so on the No School Days) and bring the work with you. 
-Daily "Special Events" will take place for Half Days and No School Days. 

COVID-19 Changes:
Group sizes will be kept to 20 children at maximum per group. Please send your child in with 2 face masks (a backup one in case it is needed). We will be wearing face masks while indoors and during close quarters activities outdoors if all grades are in one group. There will be break times for children to take off their masks. Full Day BTB-Your child should come to the program with a refillable water bottle, lunch and 2 snacks. Half Day BTB- Your child should come with a refillable water bottle and a snack. During meal times (lunch and snack) children will remain 6 feet apart. Beyond the Bell will be outdoors as much as possible.

Expectations: 
- During the sign in process parents should expect to undergo a pre-screening process for their child. 
- For the sign in and out process parents and children should wear a face mask unless vaccinated. Parents should also bring a form of ID for the Parks and Recreation Staff to check your child in and out of the program.
