Beyond the Bell: Half Day Adventures!

Beyond the Bell will be held on Half Days for even more exciting adventures! On half days children will be going on a field trip, having an entertainer, pizza party during the colder days, or other fun activities. 

Children will still have time for homework and be provided with a snack. A scheduled field trip/activity calendar will be out soon and be listed below. 

If your child attends Cherry Brook Primary School, they will take a bus at normal dismissal time to the Canton Community Center. Our Beyond the Bell staff will greet them at the bus stop and walking them inside to the Canton Community Center for the entertainer/pizza party, or be boarding the bus with them for the field trip option.

If your child attends Canton Intermediate School, our staff will pick them up from CIS and walk them across the street to the Canton Community Center. They will then board the bus that arrives from Cherry Brook Primary School if it is a field trip day.

Here is a schedule of the days for when we will have Beyond the Bell and field trip/activities planned: 
(field trips and activities are subject to change) 

October 11: Fall Cupcake Decorating with Brittany
November 12, 13 and 14: Matthorn Mini Golf or Roaring Brooks Nature Center! (Field Trip in case of weather: CT Science Center); making yummy desserts to take home (or eat) such as no bake mini pies, flavors of chocolate bark, or chocolate covered marshmallows. 
January 17: Blue Fox Bowling
March 10, 11, 12: Dinosaur State Park, making treats with an entertainer and Animal Embassy Entertainer.
*No more spots left for CBPS*
May 22: Elizabeth Park- flowers or see a play. 

*Note: We will not be having Beyond the Bell's Half Day Adventure on November 27th due to the upcoming holiday*

Please be aware this program is separate from beyond the Bell's general after school program. You must sign your child up for this program in order to attend.
